Anidolic systems

Non imaging transmission of daylight into darker parts of buildings

Contact: Prof. Jean-Louis Scartezzini

Within IEA Task 21, several daylight guiding systems were developed and tested at LESO-PB. Objective: efficient collection and redistribution of diffuse light rays from the sky vault.

These systems were developed follwing the principles of non-imaging optics, whose properties had already produced outstanding results in solar concentrators.
